Christmas week!! 2007 :)

Our Christmas lasted all week! :) Emma started out opening one present on Christmas eve before I left for work that morning. Christmas morning we opened presents at home (Emma got PinkyPie Pony from Santa Claus) then headed up to Grandma and Grandpa's house for more presents. :) Emma said, "This is the best day of my life!" I'm glad she enjoyed it so much. :) We loved spending time with the whole family- and Emma had lots of fun making the new baby cousins smile. :) Thursday we went to Vegas to see Obaachan, HiObaachan, HiOjiichan, Jerry and Laurie. Emma opened MORE presents. :) Emma got so much good stuff, she can't pick her most favorite gift- but she has already dressed up in her new dresses, played for hours with her new Barbie walkie-talkies, danced and sang with PinkyPie Pony, given all her dolls a shower in her new Dora singing shower and carries the 4 bucks she got around with her everywhere hoping she'll get to spend it soon. :)

Funny family sayings and short stories........

"Mom, I'm worried about an earthquake hitting our house. If one comes, we should drive the car out in the road and stand on top of it because the sky can't fall." - Emma yesterday after hearing there was an earthquake in Utah.
ESP...this is what Emma thought PE was called until a couple months ago. I didn't catch on until she told me they play kickball at ESP. Oohhhhhh....you mean PE?
I know why they call it a forehead, Mom. It's because you have four lines on your head. -Emma
"Drool is saliva dripping from your mouth"- Emma educating us on drooling
"I love coffin balls!" - this is what Emma calls cotton balls
"WHAT's in my bum-crack?" -Emma after hearing us talking about her bum crack hanging out of her pants

Emma has taken two words and made her own: TeaCafee--It's because I drink green tea in the morning and she heard DJ ask me if it has caffeine, or maybe she heard him say it was coffee....either way, it's funny. "Mom, is that TeaCafee?"
"Mom, you stink....on your birthday!" -what Emma said to me when I got home from running on my birthday. :)
One of Emma's cousins sent a birthday invite to her that said, "No presents". I asked Emma if we should put that on her birthday invitations. She said, "NO! Mine should say, Yes, Presents!"
Emma was at a birthday party today for one of her friends. When I came to pick her up, the girls' mom told me that Emma had announced to everyone that she was getting a new little sister.......if she just kept praying. :)
"Cookie Crunch cereal IS healthy, Mom! It's made of carrot dip!!" --Emma's reply to me saying Cookie Crunch cereal didn't really look all that healthy.
On a recent trip home for Sunday dinner, Dad made his first attempt at making gravy. During dinner, Bubba said, "There's something different about this gravy." With a straight face, Johnny said, "What is it? Too much love?"
