When we planted all the cacti in the yard, I wasn't thinking of the flowers....but I am so excited to watch them all bloom. Now if I can somehow keep the neighbor kids from wanting to play in the cactus area...This flower comes off a low growing cluster cactus. I don't know its name, but it lives around our area. Cory got me this one that he saved when he was out on a fire. Isn't it interesting that these beautiful flowers come from a plant that is usually so intimidating.
