Emma was really excited about her dance recital coming up! This semester's dance classes were really fun for her. The teachers were excellent! She took ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. She got to do two recitals last week, one for the parents and another for the birthday celebration of the center where she took the classes. Here she is above calling her dad to make sure he was going to make it to her first recital. She was so excited, running around in her little costume, saying, "Have you seen daddy yet? I hope daddy gets here soon!". 
She did a really good job in all 3 of her dances! One thing she was really excited for was getting to keep her costumes for dress up after her recitals were over. 
For hip hop, she was the smallest one by far. All the girls were really nice to her and she kept up with them pretty well. :) She was the only little girl who had a costume change during the show- so she felt really special when her teacher made up an intermission for her specifically to change costumes. :) I loved her teachers! We can't wait for dance to start up again.
