The Getaway....part 3

The Precious Moments Chapel....made by the artist to tell the story of how it all came about, tributes to his family and thanks to God. It was free to visit and very fun for all ages. :)
The chapel itself is full of bible story pictures that the artist painted, all with his special touches and cute precious moments figures. The tour guide said the artist lives outside of the US right now, but comes back occasionally to make new paintings and add things to the exsisting ones. It was a place full of good energy. :) You could literally spend hours looking at paintings and figures and stained glass. It was nice to have a tour guide for a little while to explain why the artist painted specific items....usually for a little child or someone who had lost a loved one.
Besides the chapel is a museum, gardens, and this fun play area that Emma and Cory both liked playing on. :) They also have a gift shop. :) On this trip, Emma got 3 unique necklaces with her name on them. :)

Emma wanted to be carried quite a bit....as usual. She cries that her legs hurt and that she can't take another step. Then I mention the word "race" and magically her legs feel better. :) Here she is in mid-stride. :) I joke with her that as soon as she is as tall as me, she will have to carry me. She usually has the come back that if we are the same hieght we will have to take turns...or she will offer to do ANYTHING if I just carry her a little ways. I usually ask for a foot massage. :)
